Eighth Colloquium on Microfinance and Livelihoods
Colloquium was institutionalized in 2003 by TATA TRUSTS and Aravali with the focus of bring all stakeholders (Government, Banks, Microfinance institutions as well as community) in a single platform to deliberate different issues and way forward of microfinance and livelihood sector. From 2008, CmF take up agenda of organizing deliberations in form of colloquium for the larger benefit of the sector.
The 8th Microfinance & Livelihood Colloquium was organized between 28th November 2017 to 5th December 2017 in Jawahar Kala Kendra and Hotel The Lalit respectively in collaboration with TATA Trusts and Rajasthan Grameesn Ajeevika Vikas Parishad (RAJEEVIKA).
“Abhivyakti – Women Speak” was organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra on 29th November 2017. Around 180 SHG/Federation leaders from all over the state across promoting agencies participated in the programme to share the achievements, put forth the grassroot challenges and their future expectations from the movement in front of the decision-making bodies, the policy makers and the mainstream institutions.
The Policy Makers and Practitioners Meet was organized on 5th December 2017 at Hotel The Lalit. The Practitioners Summit was primarily designed to provide an opportunity to key stakeholders to take stock of the community-based microfinance sector and to develop a broad strategy and plan for consistent growth of the Sector. The Practitioners Summit also provided a platform to showcase the efforts of different stakeholders and served as an opportunity for cross learning and networking.
